Dr. Maha Haroon, Pediatrician, Joins Texas Health Medical Associates

 Fort Worth, TX – August 20, 2020 – Maha Haroon, M.D., has joined HMA Pediatrics, soon to be Burleson Pediatrics, part of Texas Health Medical Associates. She will begin seeing patients on August 31.

Dr. Haroon provides preventative and well-child care, diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and management of chronic conditions for patients from infancy through adolescence.

“As a pediatrician, I have the unique privilege of caring for my patients from birth through their teen years.” said Dr. Haroon. “I create practical, evidence-based treatment plans to ensure my patients’ health is a priority during every stage of life. I believe communication is the cornerstone of excellent patient care and strive to keep the lines of communication open with my patients and their families.” 

Dr. Haroon completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Children’s Hospital. She earned both her medical and undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

As a child Dr. Haroon was inspired by her father, who is also a physician, to pursue medicine as a career. When not seeing patients, she loves cooking international food and spending time with her husband, Dr. Abdullah Abdussalam who is a local gastroenterologist. 

Dr. Haroon’s office is located at 11807 South Freeway, Suite 365 on the Texas Health Huguley campus in Medical Office Building 4. The office may be reached at 817-551-5539. Dr. Haroon welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
